About CAMIS

Co-operative Audit Monitoring & Information System (CAMIS) has been developed as part of the ICDMS project for the monitoring of co-operative audit progress and giving information to the members of the societies and to the public. It provides basic information and audit information of all Co-operative Societies in Kerala which are under the control of the Registrar of Co-operative Societies and other functional registrars.
Through this online system information regarding (1) the number of societies of different categories on taluk basis from all districts of the state (2) the number of completed audit (3) the number of pending audit; are being provided.
In addition, the following information related to audit is also available through the application.

  • Dashboard on Auditable Societies
  • Summary of Balance Sheet
  • Deposit
  • Loan
  • Serious irregularities
  • Action taken by the General Wing pointing out the shortcomings

Objectives

Purpose of the Co-operative Audit Monitoring & Information System (CAMIS)

  • This will help in attracting different sections of the peoples, including the youth, to the co-operative sector and increase the credibility of the co-operative sector.
  • Details of co-operative societies registered under the control of Registrar of Co-operative Societies and other Functional Registrars can be made available immediately.
  • Information on the assets and liabilities of the society can be obtained on the basis of the approved audit report.
  • Higher level Department officers can quickly understand the irregularities if any reported by the Auditor and can take immediate action on it.
  • Basic information about any co-operative society in Kerala is available at the fingertips of anyone in any corner of the world.
  • It provides information regarding the total number of societies of different categories in a given period, including the number of auditable societies, audited societies and societies in which audit is pending.
  • This will enable the members to evaluate the activities of the society as a shareholder and can suggest new plan for expanding the activities after evaluating the profit or loss of the society in the general body meeting.
